Tipriti Kharbangar or ‘Li’l Mama Tips’ is a female icon, a blues trailblazer and one of the foremost blues musicians in the country. She has performed in countless shows all over the world and shared the stage with blues luminaries like Carlos Santana, Buddy Guy, Keb Mo, Joss Stone, John Mayall, Taj Mahal and Gary Clark Jr. among others. Along with her band Soulmate, she has released 4 albums of original music.
She has won the Best Female Vocalist Award twice, once in 2009 at the Jack Daniels Rock Awards and earlier this year at The Indies Award. One of India's leading music magazines, Rolling Stone India featured her as one of the prominent “Women of Indian Rock”
